Back before color printers and desk top publishing software were prevelent I purchased a HUGE color printer and set up a website designing and printing color real estate flyers for realtors all over the country. They would mail or email some photos and choose a design and I would design, print and overnight 100 color flyers for $99.
Number of Websites:
I think it peaked at around 300 sites, less than 50 were ecommerce sites and the others were support sites or traffic driving sites.
eCommerce Sites Sold:
There have been around 10 web business sold in the 5 figure + range with the largest a 7 figure sale.
Direct Online Sales:
Topped 8 figures a few years ago.
